Dsitrict 5 tries not to like to have any unproductive space, with the task of ensuring power is delivered to even the furthest shores of Panem. It is said that the high death rate of this district is due to the citizens working TOO hard to provide this important resource to our Capitol, but it actually is a combination of accidental electrocutions and respiratory problems from the incredible pollution.
Of all the districts, this one is also the loudest, with their turbines working constantly, so deafness is not uncommon amongst Distrct 5 citizens.
